CONSTITUTION

Article I – NAME
The name of this organization shall be Monte Sano Woman’s Club.
Article II – OBJECT
The object of this club is three fold.

•to provide members an opportunity to establish deep friendships
-
•to provide support for the Monte Sano community through service projects
-
•to provide a vehicle for serving the larger community as needs are identified and leadership is identified.
Article III – MEMBERSHIP
Persons eligible for membership in this organization shall be women over 18 years of age who are residents of Monte Sano and who profess their support to its mission and to pay dues on time.
Article IV – OFFICERS
The officers of this club shall consist of a President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer.
Article V – EXECUTIVE BOARD
There is hereby created an Executive Board to consist of the officers, the past President, the Parliamentarian and the Chairpersons of Standing Committees. The Board shall be subject to the orders of the club and none of its acts shall conflict with the actions taken by the membership. It shall have the power to act for the club between meetings as occasion may require. The Executive Board shall advise the membership of any actions it has taken on behalf of the club.
Article VI - AMENDMENTS
This constitution may be amended at any meeting of the club by two-thirds vote of the members present and voting provided notice of the amendment has been given in writing to all club members at least a week in advance of the meeting.
