The meeting was called to order by President MaryLynn Perry at the home of Jan Miller.
Gene Ezell moved the Minutes be approved. Kyle Siegrist seconded. Minutes approved. A copy is in the Minutes notebook.
Kyle needs articles for the upcoming newsletter as he would like it to be mailed by December 12. MaryLynn will put an announcement on Facebook for residents to send newsletter articles to Kyle.
MaryLynn announced the election results. Next year's new Board members will be Emily Elam, George (Buzz) Heeschen, Katie Pinnix, T. Poe, and Greg Wright. Returning Board members will be Gene Ezell, Don Masterson, MaryLynn Perry, Earle Self, and Liz Thornton. Those leaving the Board are Bob Crook, Jan Miller, Nancy Robertson, and Kyle Siegrist.
The MSCA Christmas Party will begin at 5:30 PM, food will be served at 6:00 PM and the band will play from 6:30-8:30 PM Greg Wright confirmed the Looking Back Band will provide the music.
MaryLynn will ask Ty Braddy if he can furnish the liquid refreshments of wine, beer and soft drinks.
MaryLynn will call Jessica to confirm the lodge will be available at 3:00 PM on December 18 for a short Board meeting & to decorate for the party. MaryLynn will bring the remainder of the Monte Sano directories to the party.
Greg hopes to have Monte Sano bumper stickers available at the party.
Bob Crook gave the Treasurer's report. A copy is in the Minutes notebook.
MaryLynn will ask Jessica what the Lodge would like this year as a thank you from the MSCA.
Gene Ezell gave reports on the Gatehouse renovation and the Country Store in the park. The interior of the Gatehouse has been cleaned out, windows repaired, new roof installed and display shelves are to be built. Gene said there is speculation regarding expanding the Country Store and housing the park office in it with the possibility of having a park ranger on duty inside the building.
The next MSCA Board Adopt-A-Mile Cleanup will be Saturday, December 4. Board members will meet at the top of Fearn St. at 10:00 AM
