Inactive Status
A request for inactive status must be made in writing and approved by the Board. An inactive member does not pay dues, but is not allowed to use the facilities of the club or vote. According to the bylaws, the following conditions must be met:
- The member's place of residence changes to one outside of the Huntsville area (at least 25 files from the city limits).
- The anticipated period of residency outside of the Huntsville area is more than twelve months.
A member can be inactive for a maximum of three years. At the end of three years, the member must convert to active, dues-paying status or transfer the membership as described above.
